How do tornadoes happen?
Tornadoes occur when 2 different temperatures and humidity collide becoming unstable, increasing height and speed, and creating a mesocyclone. A mesocyclone is a vortex of air which is about 2-6 miles wide and rotates in the same direction around a verticle center. Overtime the tornado gets wider and wider.

A tornado is a violent rotation wind which is a funnel shape and comes down from a cumulonimbus cloud as a thunderstorm. Tornadoes are very dangerous and can destroy just about any man-made structure.
